Meet
Rana Hamdy
Physiotherapist (resident), theatre kid and people lover
Rana is wellbe’s movement-loving, people-first physiotherapy resident with a flair for blending science, storytelling, and seriously good vibes.
With a Master’s in Physiotherapy and a Minor in Theatre + Film Studies (yes, really!), Rana sees movement as more than exercise—it’s expression, confidence, and connection rolled into one. Whether she’s helping a little one hit new motor milestones or guiding a grown-up through injury rehab, her approach is all about making you feel seen, safe, and supported through every stage of recovery.
Her clinical toolkit includes manual therapy, active soft tissue release, and personalized exercise plans—but it’s her energy and empathy that make even the toughest rehab days feel like progress.
Rana has worked with folks from all walks of life and across three continents—an experience that fuels her deep belief in care that’s both customized and culturally conscious. From ortho injuries to paediatric care, she’s here to help you rediscover movement as something empowering, expressive, and even joyful.
When she’s not in the clinic, you'll find her running by the lake, catching a live show, crushing HIIT workouts, or fueling her curiosity through health equity research with the ACCESS Lab at UofT.
