Meet

Lara Williston

Psychotherapist, former massage therapist & animal lover

Grounded, heartfelt, and easy to talk to, Lara supports clients in slowing down, softening, and gently untangling the patterns that keep them feeling stuck.

Using a somatic and attachment-based approach, Lara works with adults, couples, and children to better understand themselves, their emotions, and the protective patterns that may have once helped - but no longer fit the life or relationships they want today. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, emotional overwhelm, or simply feeling disconnected from themselves, Lara offers a space that feels supportive, collaborative, and deeply human.

Lara has a special interest in supporting couples who feel caught in cycles of conflict, resentment, distance, or difficulty communicating. She helps partners move beyond blame and defensiveness to better understand the emotions, needs, and attachment patterns underneath the tension - creating more honesty, emotional safety, and connection in the relationship.

That same warm, relational approach carries into her work with children and families. Her playful and down-to-earth nature helps kids feel comfortable enough to express themselves in ways that feel natural to them. Whether a child is experiencing big feelings, difficult transitions, anxiety, or family stress, Lara works to understand their world from their perspective while also supporting parents and caregivers along the way.

Clients often leave sessions with Lara feeling more understood, more connected to themselves, and more able to respond to life and relationships with clarity instead of survival mode.
