Rosalyn Totah, MSW, RSW

social worker, fur parent and board game enthusiast

Book with Rosalyn (beaches)

Rosalyn believes that the relationships between herself and clients are the cornerstone of effective and meaningful change.

Rosalyn followed in her father’s footsteps when she entered the field of social work. For her family, the apple didn’t fall far and Rosalyn grew up idolizing the work her father did, appreciating the therapeutic relationships he built with his clients. As Rosalyn completed her education and started working, she began to relate to the joy her father experienced from his work, which continues to be the driving factor in her practice.

Rosalyn embodies a person-centered approach as she works collaboratively with her clients, respecting their experiences, strengths, and individuality. Together with her clients, she works towards creating a supportive and empowering environment where they can thrive.

She is passionate about working in children and adolescent mental health and helps families grow stronger and more connected. She is rooted in a holistic approach and draws from various theories and modalities to best suit her clients’ needs. She brings a sense of playfulness and curiosity to understanding her clients’ experiences while creating a safe space that welcomes all emotions and perspectives. She embraces the individuality and unique narrative of each of her clients and is not only privileged to play a chapter in their lives but is also grateful to have them play a part in hers.
