the buzz

I had my first microneedling with PRP treatment a week ago with Noorin. I had only recently started to think about anti-aging skincare so had never tried anything like this before.

The treatment consisted of applying the PRP on my skin in small areas and then gliding over the area with the microneedles. I was nervous about the possible pain but it was quick, and really only a 2/10 pain level! Even the “spicy” bits were only slightly more painful and again, quite short-lived.

A week later, my skin feels fresh and supple, and friends have commented (out of the blue!) that my skin looks brighter and glowy. My skin feels like I’ve had an amazing facial and I’ve already noticed some skin spots and acne scars have faded slightly. I know it takes time to see the real results but I’m really happy with the results I’ve seen so far and am actually looking forward to my next treatment.

After just one session of microneedling, I am impressed with the positive results on my skin. Not only does my complexion look noticeably brighter, but the texture feels smooth and refined. The fine lines and imperfections that once bothered me have already started to diminish, giving me a renewed sense of confidence. Noorin’s skillful technique, deep understanding of the process, attention to detail and personalized approach made my initial session a relaxing and effective experience. I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking exceptional microneedling results and can’t wait to see the continued progress with additional sessions.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that uses tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin's top layer. This triggers the body's natural healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin production for improved skin appearance and texture. Microneedling and Botox/Dysport are popular treatments for addressing various skin concerns, but they work differently. Microneedling stimulates your body’s own natural healing powers by creating tiny micro-injuries, which promotes collagen production to improve skin texture and reduces acne scars and stretch marks. Botox/Dysport, however, temporarily relax muscles to reduce wrinkles from facial expressions. To find the best fit for your needs, consult with our friendly and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner, Noorin.

both microneedling and Botox can improve the appearance of the skin, microneedling focuses on stimulating collagen production and improving skin texture by utuilizing one’s own natural healing, while Botox targets muscle movement to reduce the appearance of wrinkles caused by facial expressions. The choice between the two depends on individual skin concerns and desired outcomes. Consulting with our knowledgeable and experienced Nurse Practitioner, Noorin, can help determine which treatment is best suited for your needs. Neuromodulator Treatment works by temporarily relaxing the muscles that contribute to wrinkles and lines, resulting in smoother and softer skin. Click here to learn more!

Microneedling might give you a little pinch, but don't worry, it's usually a breeze for most folks! To minimize any potential discomfort, a topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure. Additionally, the sensation experienced during microneedling can vary depending on individual pain tolerance and the specific area being treated. However, many clients find the discomfort to be manageable and temporary, with the benefits of smoother, more radiant skin outweighing any temporary discomfort experienced during the treatment.

Microneedling can be used to treat various areas of the body, including the face, neck, chest, hands, and even areas prone to stretch marks such as the abdomen and thighs.
