Carlie Thornber

coffee lover, country music fan and fun-loving physio resident for both big and small

Book with Carlie (beaches)

As an athlete, Carlie knows a thing or two (okay, a lot) about the human body and its capabilities. A former soccer star and youth soccer coach, she has a ton of experience not only scoring goals but also helping individuals meet their goals.

Carlie has always been curious about how bodies move and improve and was called to a career in physiotherapy as it’s the perfect way to bridge her love for sports and athletics with her passion for helping folks, particularly kiddos.

Carlie’s got a special ability to make physiotherapy fun for kids, bringing a play-based approach that can easily be replicated at home (and that the kiddos will actually be excited about doing!). Through her work as a coach, she came to value the importance of gross motor skill development for little superstars and is driven to help them start on a strong foundation to fuel a lifelong, healthy relationship with movement, play and sport.

Oh, and Carlie not only treats kids, but also the kids at heart, bringing the same creative and inviting approach to her adult patients.
