The wellbe Beginner Run Club is your answer.

Join our welcoming, judgment-free 6-week program designed for beginner to intermediate runners who want to build up stamina, find their rhythm, and (dare we say?) fall in love with running without injury.

Led by Dr. Aliya Visram, chiropractor, co-founder of wellbe, and long-time runner, alongside Stephanie V, physiotherapist and running enthusiast, this series combines movement guidance from the experts with the supportive energy of community.

Together, we’ll move through a progressive run/walk program with a focus on:

  • Proper warm-ups and cooldowns

  • Injury prevention strategies

  • Pacing that works for you

  • Recovery tips and mindset support

Class Schedule

  • Saturday, May 24: Getting Started – Mindset, Shoes, Warm-Up, and Walk/Run Intervals

  • Saturday, May 31: Finding Your Pace – Form, Breathing, and Injury Prevention

  • Saturday, June 7: Building Endurance – Confidence, Cadence & Core Activation

  • Saturday, June 14: Run Strong – Recovery Routines & Managing Setbacks

  • Saturday, June 21: Distance Day – Steady Progress, Community Support & Route Planning

  • Saturday, June 28: Celebration Run – Final Group Run + Next Steps for Building a Routine

About the Instructors:

Meet Stephanie V, physiotherapist at wellbe beaches with a background in orthopedic care and a passion for helping people move better—pain-free. Whether you’re lacing up for the first time or getting back into your stride, she’s here to support your running journey from wherever you’re starting.

Meet Dr. Aliya, chiropractor, co-founder of wellbe, and lifelong runner with a love for half-marathons, marathons—and the magic of movement. She’s here to help you feel strong, supported, and will be your personal cheerleader as you build confidence in your stride, one run at a time.

Please note: this is a non-refundable class. Registration is for the full 6-week series to be held every Saturday from 8am-9am.
