Torey’s work with clients who are navigating chronic and acute illnesses focuses on the physical and emotional aspects of their unique journey, ensuring they feel supported and understood every step of the way. In addition, she offers guidance and support to family members and partners as they navigate the roles and responsibilities of caregiving.

At the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Torey developed an interest in cancer care. She continued to specialize in this area of practice through her role at the Odette Cancer Centre in Toronto where she provided clinical counseling support to patients and family members coping with cancer diagnoses and treatment.

Torey firmly believes in the importance of comprehensively understanding her clients to establish a strong therapeutic connection. She recognizes that individuals extend far beyond their medical needs, and a wealth of depth is waiting to be explored beneath the surface. With her caring approach and attentive listening skills, Torey assists clients in navigating their challenges, discovering effective coping techniques, and embarking on a journey of self-discovery along the path to healing.
